Hi everyone,
I’m Puja Shaw. I live in Kolkata. I’m passionate about my dreams. I’m currently doing a job as a Creative Designer Head at Raaika. Apart from this, I’m a newbie fashion blogger. I believe that if something is important enough don’t think what others think about you, you still do it.
I was brought up in a lower-middle-class family along with my two sisters. My Maa is our superhero. My Maa always tried to do the best for us. She sacrificed so much for us.
Today what I’m just because of my mom and dad’s support.
I decided to give up my college education. I want to do something interesting, something creative. So I joined The State Youth Centre to learn graphics. The institute helped me to utilize my full potential. Mr. Atanu Ghosal was taking our class. He is my mentor. His kind and supportive nature helped us always to learn more. Thinking positively was his key advice.

After completion of my graphics courses I had started my career as a Sales Promoter. After that, I did a data operator job at Rabindra Mahavidyalaya Motijheel college. But always wanted to be a Graphic Designer. Every day I was unsatisfied with what I was doing.
One day I got called for an interview & I was selected as a Creative Designer Head. I am happy with my work. There, I always get the appreciation for my work & it makes me more motivated.

Then my family pressurized me for marriage. There was constant pressure to quit my job. How can I give up? I worked so hard to get those opportunities.
Many times our society never appreciate girls to fulfill their dreams. I had faced so many problems at that time. The co-owner of Raaika Miss Richie Dev always supported me. She believes in me. She knows that I have the potential to do something great for my career. She gives me the strength I need at that time. Then I made the decision to reject that guy coz he couldn’t understand my life’s goals.
I believe a girl should be confident about herself & I believe in equality, boys and girls are equal. A girl also has the right to choose the right man for her life.
I worked hard for something that I loved, I dreamt about. I love the beautiful thing about my journey is my family and my friends they are always there to support me. So, I made my dreams happened.
If you want to be successful you have to follow your passion.
Impressive! Choosing a right life partner makes your carrier brighter and gives you a positive feeling to achieve a anything in the world.
My advice : Don’t quit. When I got my first job, I lived so far below the poverty line. I think you can survive in misery.
Thank you Srin
