Delhi Born 19-year Old Moksh Murgai, A Young And Stylish Cricketer To Look Forward To

Moksh Murgai, a young all-rounder from Delhi is amongst the upcoming lot of talented cricketers who are certain to make a mark through their brilliant performance and determination. India is certainly a country of fresh young talent when it comes to cricket, and this 19-year old boy has proven himself worthy of being talked about. Moksh Murgai, an undergraduate student of Delhi University, was recently appointed the Sports President of DUSU (Delhi University Students’ Union), 2020. An attacking batsman, with a flair of changing the game with his scores, he has also proven his capacity with his balling skills too.

He had demonstrated his skills in the previous season where he scored more than 1200 runs and proved why he is a young man to watch out for. Moksh is the captain of his college team who has also bagged several achievements at the zonal, state and national levels.

“When you focus on problems, you’ll have more problems. When you focus on possibilities, you’ll have more opportunities” is a mantra he lives by.

Because of his immense dedication and will power, Moksh also received a sponsorship from SH Sports for 2019-20. When questioned about his several achievements at such a young age, he talked about the tough practice sessions and hours of sweat and hard work he had to put in to reach where he is now.

Despite a back injury, his persistence never allowed him to quit on his dream. He also credits his family for their continuous support and his coaches for their belief in his talents. A true example of sportsman spirit, he also mentioned that his failures made him mentally and physically stronger to achieve his goal of becoming a renowned cricketer.

Cricket has given me mental stability and helped in building who I am today.

 

 

 

 

 

To add to his list of achievements, Moksh also attended the under-23 Railway camp and represented India in a tournament held in Lucknow in 2019. His accomplishments have made an appearance in various newspaper articles too. On being asked what cricket meant to him, he further added, “Cricket has given me mental stability and helped in building who I am today.”

This upcoming talent is certainly someone to look out for and will continue to prove himself a valuable and capable asset.
