Joy of Making Others Dream Come True

In this busy world, most of us are living our life to fulfill our dreams, our parents dreams, life goals. Many people would be part of NGOs doing some social services in their free time. But have you ever thought how it would feel to make others dream come true. I will share my experience with you so that you can know how our very little contributions can make huge impacts on life of other people.

Dream of My Early Childhood:
I am a 90’s kid and back then 99% kid’s favorite sport was cricket and their dream was to have a cricket bat. It was like you will have special powers if you have the cricket bat of your own; every team would like to have you in their team, you will be the captain, you don’t need to field most of the time, you’ll be offered to bat first,etc. I was no different,  I had dreamed to play cricket with MRF bat as Sachin was my favorite cricketer and soon my dream fulfilled when I stood first in my 4th standard class. I was so happy while playing with my new cricket bat as my dream came true. I was feeling like the most luckiest child at that time but as the time progressed couldn’t play with that bat.

Happiness find its way:
As the bat size was small, I couldn’t use it later after 4-5 years, but kept it with me as it was gifted to me and it was my dream to have it. One day when I had gone to my village; small children were playing with hand-made cricket bat which they have made themselves. The bat was not proper one; hard to grip, they even got hurt playing with that bat, but they had found their happiness of playing cricket with their hand-made bat, at that moment I was thinking like how it would feel if I give them my bat so they can enjoy the game of cricket to the fullest.

Joy of Sharing Dreams:

I had given them my beloved bat and shared my dreams attached to it. Believe me it was really amazing when I watched them playing with my bat and enjoying, having fun. Their happiness was at peak and I was more impressed with their passion as they have redesigned the bat with new sticker, new grip. Most of the time they asked me to play along with them which I couldn’t deny and play with them for 1-2 over, my other friends would ask me why I was playing with them, but I couldn’t answer them, but you can’t simply express this feelings in words. You have to feel it and live it.

The joy of making others dream come true is most precious one. Pass on your dreams, share your dreams; In some way or other you’ll surely live your dream while making others dream come true.
