Fashion is about dreaming and making other people dream

Fashion has been my calling ever since I was a kid and even as a little girl I dreamt of having a career in this field. Fashion is about dreaming and making other people dream. When I was about 13, I met the coolest, chicest young woman I had ever seen. She was a neighbor of mine who became a fashion designer and had a small design studio. She taught me so many things about style and fashion. I had always loved making things, so when she told me about her career in fashion, I knew I had found my path.

When you’re younger, it’s all about conformity and being easily influenced – especially in terms of fashion. You just follow the trends. Whatever is hot at the moment, you want to get it. You basically just want to be doing what everyone else is doing.

I am 22 now! This is the time to do what I really want to do and chase my dreams. I figured the best middle ground between attending college and making my mark in Fashion was Blogging.

Well, a lot of people don’t know this about me, but I’m actually shy around people I don’t know. I didn’t really talk onstage. I was like, ‘Thank you, I love you guys,’ or whatever. But now I’ve just kind of learned to work a crowd.

So after a lot of research, saw the many of the fashion blogger and their style then got inspired by them. After all the research, made a profile on Instagram as a insta blogger and started sharing my personal style, my travel photos and things I believed in and thought people would connect to. This was the time to do what I really wanted to do and chase my dreams. I was too overjoyed with the idea of finally following my dreams that I didn’t care about the result but I just kept on working hard and i will work hard, managing my extremely difficult Masters , exams and internships with shooting for my blog and using my pocket money to buy clothes, mostly street shopping at the time because I can not afford expensive clothes.

I think fashion is a lot of fun. I love clothes. More than fashion or brand labels, I love design. I love the thought that people put into clothes. I love when clothes make cultural statements and I think personal style is really cool. I love the fashion world. I love clothes. I love style. I also freely recognize that fashion should be a hobby. Anyway, going back to the point I can not afford a photographer so I ask my friends to quickly take my photos whenever they have time. This is fun for me i am happy by following my dreams. I enjoy everything i do.

So this is my story l, I feel like it’s amazing, because it shows people no matter where you come from, no matter what your lifestyle is, your dreams could still come true if you believe in yourself and push hard to do what you want to do. I know i have to work very hard. It will take time to get success, and have to take a lot of patience.

Everyone has a different life story. Things happen rapidly for someone, and things move slowly for others. But most of the important is that stay true to yourself, yet always be open to learn. Work hard, and never give up on your dreams, even when nobody else believes they can come true but you. These are not cliches but real tools you need no matter what you do in life to stay focused on your path. Follow your passion, be prepared to work hard and sacrifice, and, above all.
